Puerarin is an isoflavone derivative separated from Pueraria lobata, which has crown expanding effect. It exists in the roots of Pueraria lobata and Pueraria lobata in legumes. It has the effects of antipyretic, sedative and increasing coronary blood flow, and has protective effect on acute myocardial hemorrhage caused by pituitrin. It is clinically used for coronary heart disease, angina pectoris and hypertension.
